Voyago is now hiring School Bus Drivers in Sudbury for the 2026/2027 school year!

Part‑time School Bus Drivers needed for the 2026/2027 school year. Friendly, safety‑focused, and committed to safe transportation for school children across Sudbury.

Your role:

- Safely transport students within your community to and from school, ensuring a reliable and positive experience each day
- Prioritize student safety at all times, including during boarding, transit, and exiting the vehicle
- Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to ensure the bus remains in proper and safe operating condition
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bus, including assisting with fueling and basic upkeep to present a well‑kept, professional vehicle
- Accurately complete daily Hours of Service reports and maintain required documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Immediately report any mechanical issues or concerns affecting the safe operation of the vehicle
- Address and report any student behaviour issues in a timely and professional manner, following company procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with safety practices, policies, and regulations
- Demonstrate professionalism, patience, and care while fostering a safe and respectful environment for all passengers

Applicants solely interested in driving minivan routes will not be considered.

Your profile:

- You are safety focused
- You hold a valid minimum full G class driver’s licence for at least 1 year
- If you don’t currently hold a B or E Class licence, Voyago provides full training at no cost

- You are 21 years of age or over
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
- You have a sound knowledge of Sudbury and surrounding areas
- You have the ability to work independently




- You are available for the required shifts

- Monday‑Friday approximately 6:00 am to 9:15 am and 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm (start and end times may vary by route)

- You possess solid communication skills
- You enjoy being around children of all ages
- You are comfortable driving in all types of weather and road conditions
- You are comfortable driving large vehicles
- You have basic computer skills and can easily navigate Google Maps or a GPS unit

Hourly Rate:

- Competitive hourly pay based on the vehicle you’re driving
- Big Yellow – $25.00 /hour
- Mini‑Yellow or Wheelchair‑Accessible Routes – $24.00 /hour
- Minivan Routes – $21.80 /hour
- Base Rate (for times spent working but not driving a school route) – $21.80 /hour

Your Location:

- Main office is located at 38 Westhill Court, Lively, ON
- If you have space, you may keep your bus at home for the school year
- You must be able to drive to one of our three park‑out locations: Lively, South End, or Current Sudbury
