As a Team lead in the commercial banking business line at National Bank, you will coach a team of Commercial Account Directors to promote solutions across the Bank’s distribution channels while managing a senior portfolio of commercial clients.
The role reports to the Regional Vice‑President, Enterprise and Private Wealth Management, and covers the Monteregie region.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a team of Account Directors, fostering engagement and achievement of objectives.
- Monitor employee performance and skill development through personalized coaching.
- Optimize efficiency, productivity, and profitability by implementing business growth strategies.
- Establish strategies with partners to maximize market impact and increase sector visibility.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the annual business plan for the market.
- Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships and conduct acquisition and retention activities.
- Act as an ambassador for the Bank within the local community and build relationships with key partners.
- Balance risk management and profitability in business development activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and operational procedures.
- Stay informed on market trends and adapt products and services to evolving client needs.
- Identify new work methods, promote continuous improvement, and leverage new tools.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in personnel management and/or coaching.
- Solid experience in commercial credit and business development.
- Proficiency with banking systems.
- Strong ability to influence, lead, and manage priorities.
- Autonomy, organization, and change management skills.
