EFFECTIVE DATES: Commencing September 1, 2026 and continuing
Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following:
Training Specialization: Secondary Education with a Master's Degree in Counselling
Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience as an Elementary School Counsellor
A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff.
Additional Qualifications: Master's Degree in Counselling

- Willingness to provide support and develop programs in collaboration with the Youth Care Workers.
- Ability to advocate for student needs with community agencies.
The annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $64,901 to $116,190 with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. We also offer a competitive perks package and pension.
