CNC PUNCH PRESS OPERTOR-Markham, ON Hours of work: Monday Thursday 7am 5pm and Friday 7am -11:15am Well established steel door and frame manufacturing company offering employees secure, full-time employment, competitive rates, benefits and a friendly. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate CNC press brake or similar bending machines to produce high-quality parts Set up, select, and modify CNC programs as required Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements Perform basic programming edits using CNC controls and related software Load and unload materials and finished parts safely and efficiently Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards Maintain equipment and ensure machines and work areas are clean and in good working condition Perform routine machine maintenance including daily cleaning, lubrication, tooling inspections,
and minor adjustments Conduct weekly and monthly preventative maintenance checks on machinery and report any mechanical or operational issues promptly Monitor machine performance and coordinate repairs or servicing as required to minimize downtime Ensure proper maintenance and storage of tooling, dies, and related equipment Maintain accurate maintenance and production records as required Follow all safety procedures and company policies Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines QUALIFCATIONS: Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to setup machine using engineering drawings Must be able to self-check for parts quality to ensure parts are produced defect-free.
Have an aptitude for math, problem solving, and the ability to learn recent skills.
Ability to work independently and cooperate within a team.
Ability to communicate well with others and be detailed-oriented.
Willing and able to adapt to high pace and high-pressure work environment
