Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW

- Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- RN or RPN
- Nursing student with 2 completed clinical placements
- Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
- Foreign‑trained healthcare professional – nurse

Requirements

- A valid driver’s license and a vehicle to use for work daily.
- Meet immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus, and Covid.
- Current vulnerable sector check (VSC).
- Current Standard CPR Level C certificate.
- Availability to work evening and every other weekend.
- This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm, and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, ability to lift up to approximately fifty‑five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.

Compensation

The hiring pay range is $21.70–$24.20 per hour, based on experience.
