Principal Architect, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

This role will be based in Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, or Vancouver and focuses on strategic initiatives for Long View’s clients, leveraging business and management consulting skills to resolve challenges and lead complex Dynamics 365 implementations.

Responsibilities

- Support Long View’s Business Applications D365 Finance and Operations portfolio by working with customers and stakeholders to define solutions and deliver innovative engagements.
- Oversee design, architecture, and implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution components and support solution consultants.
- Apply best practices for organizational change management.
- Qualify strategic business solutions leads and sales opportunities with Account Managers, Client Services Managers, and Practice Directors/VPs.
- Share learnings and information with the broader Long View team.
- Collaborate with Service Realization to bring complementary products and capabilities to market.
- Keep abreast of relevant industry certifications, accreditations, and key technology partners.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of industry experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum.




- Proven skills in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations presales and demos.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences—including stakeholders, peers, and external partners—in written, oral, and presentation formats.
- Proficiency in workshop facilitation (envisioning workshops, art-of-the-possible sessions).
- Self-motivation and drive to continuously improve expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

- Industry certifications such as Dynamics FastTrack, Microsoft MVP, Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, Zachman), and relevant Azure experience across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.

$152,950 – $175,598 per year plus 25% variable earnings.
