As the founding Director of Product, you will lead strategy and execution across recommendations, search, ranking, and discovery experiences.About YouYou are a product leader operating at the intersection of user problems, ML systems, and business outcomes. and LLM-powered reasoning.Partner with ML Engineering and Applied Research to ship real-time systems at global scale.Drive generative recommendation experiences, real-time intent modeling, and personalization.Own end-to-end discovery journeys, introducing AI overviews and conversational interfaces.Define metrics for subscription value, discovery satisfaction, and content health; lead a robust experimentation agenda.Develop executive-level narratives and communicate tradeoffs clearly to partners at every level.You Have10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years managing PM teams.Demonstrated success owning discovery, personalization, search, or ranking at scale.Deep technical fluency in ML/AI systems.Track record of translating user needs and data insights into breakthrough discovery features.Ability to lead through ambiguity and balance long-term platform investments with near-term results.Exceptional communication skills across all stakeholder levels.Experience running large-scale A/B tests and multi-surface experimentation programs.Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field or equivalent experience.Ideally, You HaveExperience building or leading LLM-powered products.Background in information retrieval, recommender systems,
or NLP.Experience with large UGC ecosystems where content quality is central.Experience scaling a new product group, including hiring and mentoring senior PMs.CompensationPay ranges vary by location: in San Francisco, $173,000–$275,000; outside California, $142,500–$266,250; in Canada, $181,000–$249,250 CAD.
