Our Financial Services Client is looking for a Senior Platform Tech Lead, Commercial, you will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of technology solutions supporting commercial banking portfolio.

You will be expected to lead hands-on and be deeply embedded in the project, with the ability to zoom out to E2E delivery strategy and zoom in to technical detail as required..

Your focus will be on driving digital transformation, operational efficiency, data-driven decision making, and regulatory compliance.

This is contract role,% Remote, Vancouver, BC preferred, open to Ontario candidates.

Must Have: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent; MBA or Masters in Finance/Technology is an asset 7+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream platform implementations in enterprise environments Deep expertise in end-to-end solution delivery : requirements through design, build, integration, testing, and go-live Strong experience with system integration , API design , and working across diverse technology stacks (core banking, middleware, identity management, payment systems)



Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams (Solution Architects, Developers, QA) and hold delivery accountability Experience managing vendor and System Integration partner relationships , including aligning contracts, SLAs, and delivery timelines Solid understanding ofenterprise architecture principles, security frameworks, and regulatory/compliance requirements in financial services Excellentcommunication, facilitation, and stakeholder managementskillsable to engage executives, business partners, and technical teams with equal effectiveness Comfortable operating inagile, fast-paced environmentswith ambiguity; able to make decisions, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution Experience withobservability, logging, and operational readinessfor production platforms is an asset Nice to Have: Experience supporting

Online Account Opening, digital onboarding, or acquisition platforms.

Experience with CMS platforms, identity verification, analytics tooling, or marketing technology stacks.

Background in financial services, banking, or regulated digital environments.

Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and public website compliance.
