We are a warm, close-knit family looking for a caring, dependable and responsible live-in nanny to help care for our two boys, ages three and six.

Our six-year-old son is autistic.

He is a very kind, gentle and affectionate child who benefits from patience, consistency and calm support with his routines.

He sometimes wakes during the night and may require supervision and reassurance.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.

The schedule may include daytime, evening and occasional overnight care as needed.

When an overnight shift is worked, the nanny will receive the following day off and will not be expected to work both overnight and during the day.

Responsibilities - Providing safe, attentive and caring supervision for both children - Helping with meals, playtime, activities and daily routines - Providing calm and patient support for our autistic son - Assisting with school or activity preparation - Completing light housekeeping - Providing occasional evening care so that we can go out for dinner, visit friends or attend events - Providing occasional overnight care when our older son wakes - Occasionally travelling with our family to assist with childcare during vacations Private Accommodations Provided - Private furnished bedroom - Private bathroom - Meals - Utilities and internet Compensation and Benefits - $20/hour - Maximum permitted room-and-board deduction - 10 days of paid vacation per year - Vacation pay and other applicable Ontario employment entitlements provided Travel Some travel may be required to assist with childcare during family vacations, including trips to the Caribbean, the United States and Europe. A valid passport is required.

We will cover approved transportation, accommodations and other required travel expenses.

Childcare performed while travelling will count as working time.

Requirements - Legally entitled to work in Canada - Previous childcare experience - Reliable, patient and responsible - Comfortable caring for children ages three and six - Comfortable supporting an autistic child - Experience with autistic or neurodivergent children is an asset, but not required - Comfortable working daytime, evening and occasional overnight shifts - Valid passport - Successful Vulnerable Sector Check or criminal background check - Solid references - First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it Speaking Polish and English would be a strong asset because we would like our children to have greater exposure to the Polish language, but Polish is not required.
