What Youll Do: Oversee contractors who perform Inspections, maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose potential problems.
Coordinate with vendors the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
Point of contact for emergency situations and issues that occur during and outside normal business hours.
Inspect current installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company values.
Impact the quality of own work.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

Qualifications What Youll Need: Must be eligible to pass the Controlled Good Program of Canada.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
