Job Title: Inventory Planner 1 Supply Chain & Logistics Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite 4 days onsite / 1 day remote) Duration: 12 Months Contract (40 Hours/Week) Job Summary: We are seeking an Inventory Planner 1 to support the Allocation Planning team for a leading global retail brand.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in inventory planning, merchandising, retail operations, or data analysis who enjoy working with large datasets and ensuring inventory accuracy.

The Inventory Planner will partner with cross-functional teams to manage purchase orders, maintain inventory systems, analyze retail data, troubleshoot discrepancies, and support product allocation to stores.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a rapid-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities Process and maintain purchase orders (POs) and product SKU information.

Work with large datasets to ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity.

Support inventory allocation and replenishment planning across retail locations.

Update reporting, validate inventory data, and resolve discrepancies.

Monitor stock levels and assist with forecasting and replenishment decisions.

Troubleshoot system and inventory issues while recommending process improvements.

Collaborate with Distribution Centers (DC), Merchandising, Planning,



and Store Operations teams.

Maintain accurate inventory records across retail systems and planning tools.

Support day-to-day allocation planning activities and retail operations.

Required Qualifications Bachelor''s degree or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in: Inventory Planning Merchandise Planning Allocation Planning Retail Inventory Analysis Data Analysis Experience handling large datasets and data entry.

Knowledge of: Purchase Orders (POs) Product SKUs Retail Math Inventory Management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to identify data inconsistencies and maintain data integrity.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).

Retail industry experience.

Experience with SAP and/or Retail Pro .

Previous experience or a similar consumer retail organization is a plus.

Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing business needs.
