Job Title: SAP IS-U Techno Functional Consultant Location: Calgary, AB Work Model: Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE) Experience: 10+ Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Techno Functional Consultant with robust expertise in SAP IS-U Billing, Device Management (DM), and Meter-to-Cash (M2C) processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing production support, resolving billing and device management issues, performing SAP IS-U configurations, preparing functional specifications, and driving process improvements through automation using Microsoft Fabric technologies.

Key Responsibilities Provide production support by analyzing and resolving SAP IS-U incidents, defects, and billing exceptions.

Support Meter-to-Cash (M2C) business processes, ensuring smooth billing and operational activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: SAP IS-U Billing Device Management (DM) Meter Reading Device Installation & Removal Billing Exceptions Manage data exchange (IDEX) processes, including IDoc monitoring, troubleshooting, and processing.

Perform SAP IS-U configuration changes within Billing and Device Management modules.

Prepare functional specifications for WRICEF developments, including reports, interfaces, workflows, and enhancements.

Collaborate with technical teams for custom development, integrations, and defect resolution.

Execute Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Identify recurring production issues and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.

Leverage Microsoft Fabric technologies,



including Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, and Power BI, to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.

Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver high-quality support and enhancements.

Participate in project planning, production releases, and post-implementation support activities.

Required Skills 10+ years of experience as an SAP IS-U Techno Functional Consultant.

Strong expertise in SAP IS-U Billing.

Hands-on experience with SAP IS-U Device Management (DM).

Strong understanding of Meter-to-Cash (M2C) processes.

Experience supporting Billing Exceptions and production support activities.

Experience with IDEX processes and IDoc monitoring/troubleshooting.

Hands-on SAP IS-U configuration experience.

Experience preparing WRICEF functional specifications.

Strong knowledge of SAP testing methodologies (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT).

Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, Power BI) is highly preferred.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in Utilities domain projects.

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Utilities is an advantage.

Experience working in Agile project environments.

Strong project coordination and team collaboration skills.
