The Opportunity The Engineering Team at Atto
Tude consists of a world class team working in a fast-paced and agile environment developing next generation modems for intra-DCI applications.
The Module NPI Test Lead , will be responsible to define, staff and execute the OSFP transceiver module test strategy from NPI phase through production ramp for 1.6T interconnects and beyond.
Develop an at scale automated test framework, ensure spec compliance, and troubleshoot failures.
Prior experience in leading module test development organizations and NPI ramp of optical pluggable modules is highly desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the test strategy,
developing comprehensive test plans and coverage for OSFP transceiver modules, and staffing to execute against product ramp and volume production transfer.
In overseeing the testing of Atto
Tudes transceiver modules for 1.6T (8 x 224Gbps) and beyond, you will establish the test coverage for verifying high-speed performance, thermal, power and host compliance, while ensuring capability to scale capacity and yield at the target cost structure.
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements PhD /MSc in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering or related field PhD /MSc in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering or related field Experience leading cross-functional teams in hardware, test software, firmware and DVT Deep understanding of fiber optics, coherent technology Demonstrated leadership in establishing mid-size teams and driving projects to deliver the expected results Prior NPI experience in successfully ramping 400G and/or 800G modules and transitioning to volume production Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely across multiple platforms and modalities Location This position is located in Ottawa, ON and requires on-site presence to carry out and perform duties.
