Job Title: Installation & Implementation Technician (Backup Hardware Deployment) Location: Newmarket, ON Duration: 3 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Onsite Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Installation & Implementation Technician to support the deployment of backup hardware within a Radiation Oncology environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of a Synology Rack
Station backup solution while working closely with the client to ensure a successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities Install and rack-mount backup hardware at the client site.
Configure and deploy a Synology Rack
Station RS3621xs+ NAS server.
Perform system configuration, testing, and validation.
Troubleshoot hardware and configuration issues during deployment.
Document the installation, configuration, and implementation activities.
Work collaboratively with client stakeholders to ensure a successful deployment.
Provide onsite support with some remote assistance as required.
Follow customer standards, change management, and implementation procedures.
Required Qualifications Experience installing and configuring enterprise server or NAS hardware.
Hands-on experience with Synology solutions is an asset.
Strong hardware installation and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with backup and storage technologies.
Ability to document technical implementations clearly.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a healthcare environment.
