Your New Role As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will prepare accurate cost estimates and bid documentation for a wide range of electrical construction projects.

Youll work closely with suppliers, clients, subcontractors, and the Chief Estimator to developpetitive pricing strategies and ensure estimates meet organizational standards at all project stagesfrom conceptual and schematic design through tender and construction.

Youll review design documents, perform detailed take-offs, assess project risks, and prepare final proposals.

This position also includes mentoring junior estimators, maintaining estimating software and pricing databases, and representing thepany professionally during meetings and site walkthroughs.

What Youll Need to Succeed Qualifications & Experience Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Certified Engineering Technologist,



309A Electrical License, or Electrical Certificate of Qualification preferred (Equivalentbinations of education and experience may be considered.) Minimum 6 years of experience estimating electrical construction projects (industrial,mercial, institutional) Strong ability to estimate diverse project types and prepareplex proposals with minimal supervision Proficiency in estimating and quantity take-off software, including Blue

Beam, Accubid, and Live Count Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Solid knowledge of procurement procedures, accounting practices, and project administration Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Skills & Attributes Exceptional organization, recordkeeping, and multitasking abilities Strongmunication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Key Responsibilities Review tender documents to ensure accuracy andpliance Analyze drawings, specifications, and related design documentation Identify design gaps and issue RFIs for clarification Perform prebid risk assessments and develop installation strategies Provide valueengineering rmendations to improve costeffectiveness Conduct detailed take-offs and organize quantities in estimating software Prepare material, labour, equipment, and job cost calculations Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes forpliance and suitability Prepare scope letters and qualification notes Review estimates prepared by other team members Mentor and support new hires within the estimating department
