About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Designer to join our engineering team and lead the design, development, and industrialization of innovative electronic products.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership throughout the complete product lifecycle-from concept and architecture to validation, certification, manufacturing transfer, and production support.
You will play a key role in defining hardware architectures, selecting technologies and components, solving complex technical challenges, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of complex electronic hardware systems.
Define hardware design approaches, component selection strategies, and technical solutions.
Own hardware development activities from concept through production release.
Design schematics, support PCB development, perform hardware validation, and lead board bring-up activities.
Troubleshoot complex hardware issues and conduct root cause investigations.
Develop hardware verification and validation strategies to ensure product quality and reliability.
Participate in technical design reviews and provide engineering leadership on critical decisions.
Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams.
Manage technical relationships with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and external vendors.
Support regulatory compliance, product certification, and qualification activities.
Lead manufacturing transfer activities and support production ramp-up.
Mentor junior hardware engineers and provide technical guidance across the engineering team.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to hardware platforms and development processes.
Contribute to long-term hardware architecture and technology roadmap planning.
Required Qualifications Education Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience 10+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and embedded hardware development.
Proven experience leading complex electronic product development projects from concept through production.
Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing teams, and product transfer activities.
Technical Skills Solid expertise in electronic circuit design and embedded hardware architecture.
Extensive experience with schematic capture, PCB design, board bring-up, and hardware debugging.
Experience with embedded systems, power management, and hardware/software integration.
Knowledge of product validation, testing methodologies, and hardware reliability.
Experience supporting product certification and regulatory compliance activities.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability (DFM), and product industrialization.
Knowledge of current and emerging hardware technologies.
Preferred Skills Experience working in regulated product development environments.
Familiarity with high-speed digital, analog, mixed-signal, or embedded electronic systems.
Experience collaborating with global suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
