Our client, located in Mississauga, is a public accounting firm looking for an experienced Accountant in the non-assurance space to join their team! Reporting directly to the Owner, the Staff Accountant tasks will follow: Responsibilities Review and preparation of NTRs/compilation engagements Preparation of Financial Statements Preparation of tax returns for both corporate and personal Support with investment working files Other ad-hoc duties are required Qualifications 2-4 years of public accounting experience Very robust tax and investment knowledge and experience Strong technical accounting experience Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with various stakeholders Excellent time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple deadlines and engagements AI may be used to support certain administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
