Established in 2005, our companyis a proudly Canadian-owned and operated leader in the agricultural industry.

We are the premier exporter ofcontainerized grainsin North America, specializing in the domestic and international trade of soybeans, corn, wheat, pulses, and specialty crops.

We are seeking a high-energy Junior Grain Buyer / Originator to join our procurement team.

In this role, you will be the critical link between North American farmers and our global export pipeline.

You will be responsible for ''pounding the pavement'' (and the phones) to secure grain supplies, managing producer relationships, and ensuring our containerized export programs are fully serviced with high-quality commodities.

This position will be working from our Princeton, ON location.

Key Responsibilities Procurement & Originating: Proactively contact producers to purchase grains, oilseeds, and cereals.

You will manage the full ''buy'' cycle, from initial price discovery to contract execution.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain a loyal network of producers across your designated region.

You aren''t just buying grain; youre building long-term partnerships.

Containerized Export Support:



Work closely with our logistics and trade teams to ensure grain is sourced and delivered to meet specific international shipping windows and container loading schedules.

Market Intelligence: Stay current on local basis levels, international demand, and commodity futures to provide accurate marketing advice to growers.

Quality Control: Educate producers on the stringent quality and documentation standards required for Identity Preserved (IP) and food-grade exports.

On-Farm Presence: Conduct farm visits to inspect crop quality, discuss marketing strategies, and represent thebrand in the local agricultural community.

Qualifications & Skills Education: Degree or diploma in Agribusiness, Agriculture, or a related Business field.

Background: Robust roots in agriculture (e.g., farm background) is highly preferred.

Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.

You must be comfortable with ''cold calling'' and building rapport quickly with producers.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of grain marketing, futures markets, and the logistics of containerized shipping is an asset.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where market conditions and export schedules change rapidly.

Travel: Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to travel regionally to meet with producers on-site.
