The Senior AI Engineer (Platform) is responsible for the engineering execution and delivery of technology solutions that support our client''s AI platform.

This role ensures the timely delivery, quality, resiliency, and operational excellence of AI platform capabilities that support applications, processes and client journeys for our banking client.

The Senior AI Engineer partners closely with business and product leads to align on requirements and priorities, delivering technical solutions that support strategic business outcomes.

Reporting to the Head, Data and AI Platforms, this role plays a key part in translating vision into executable plans and ensuring those plans are delivered with a high level of quality, stability, and stakeholder alignment.

Accountabilities Engineer and deliver scalable AI platform capabilities, including MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.

Build infrastructure supporting Generative AI, RAG, context engineering, intelligent agents, and large-scale model inference.

Partner with technology, data, analytics, risk, and business teams to deliver enterprise AI solutions aligned to business priorities.

Design and implement standardized AI pipelines for real-time, batch, and hybrid workloads.





Lead engineering initiatives through planning, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

Collaborate with data platform teams to optimize data products, feature stores, and AI/ML training and inference pipelines.

Drive engineering best practices across platform architecture, Dev

Ops, CI/CD, observability, automation, and incident management.

Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence through monitoring and continuous improvement.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.

Requirements University degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Technology, or relevant work experience 5+ years of Software/Data/ML/AI Engineering experience 1+ years of technology leadership experience, e.g. as a Senior Engineer Experience delivering complex, high-availability ML/AI platforms at scale.

Hands on experience with Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG pipelines, and feature stores.

Experience with cloud native AI/ML stacks (GCP/Azure/AWS), container orchestration (Kubernetes) and up-to-date AI platforms Knowledge of AI governance, compliance, security and reliability best practices
