Our client, a prominent leader in the Canadian financial and insurance services sector, is expanding its cybersecurity modernization efforts to enhance web application safety across external-facing assets.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Infrastructure Analyst to play a pivotal role in accelerating the migration, integration, and deployment of web application and API protection configurations.

Sitting within an established IT infrastructure team, you will act as a core technical executor responsible for standardizing security controls, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring a seamless transition for hundreds of active web properties.

Responsibilities Platform Migration & Integration: Execute end-to-end integration and configuration of external hostnames on web security platforms (Akamai WAAP/Property Manager).

Analyze legacy perimeter setups to prepare, deploy, and validate target properties against established organizational security standards.

Deployment Support & Quality Control: Conduct technical and functional validation prior to go-live, supporting application teams during rollout phases to minimize operational disruption.

Process Automation: Leverage existing automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and APIs to streamline routine deployment tasks, reduce manual friction, and boost overall velocity.

Asset & Inventory Governance:



Partner with IT operations to build out and update centralized CMDB assets (Service

Now).

Develop and maintain automated discovery mechanisms to audit internet-facing hostnames and domain inventories continuously.

Incident Resolution & Continuous Improvement: Troubleshoot edge-routing, DNS, or certificate issues during migration waves, while suggesting pragmatic enhancements to operational workflows.

Qualifications Proven track record as an Infrastructure, Security, or Systems Analyst delivering large-scale web security migrations.

Hands-on proficiency with Akamai solutions (App & API Protector, Property Manager, Edge Hostnames, Certificate/DNS management).

Core Dev

Ops experience with Azure Dev

Ops, Git, CI/CD pipeline execution, and standard scripting or API-driven automation.

Strong background in web application security, reverse proxies, and core networking fundamentals.

Assets: Familiarity with legacy perimeter systems (Palo Alto, Citrix ADC / Net

Scaler), Terraform, Akamai APIs, or Service

Now CMDB asset discovery.

Our client operates in Canada.
