Location: Calgary Head Office Department: MP Facilities Execution Reports to: Supervisor, Project Controls Business Services Worker Type: Contract Schedule Type: In-office Work Setting: Full-time Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative, motivated, and values driven individual to join our dynamic team as an Invoice Requisition Analyst (Contract).
In this position, you will play a key role in managing the processing of requisitions and invoices according to project and corporate standards.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong invoice processing, purchase requisition, payment reconciliation, project controls, and stakeholder support expertise.
Key Responsibilities Process invoices in a timely and efficient manner, including attesting invoices for accuracy related to rates, hours, expenses, supporting documentation, and other required details.
Process invoices through 3-way match by receiving goods and services against the purchase order with proper documentation and approvals.
Prepare purchase requisitions to support invoice processing activities.
Reconcile payment certificates within the LEM database.
Process payment requests for non-invoice payments.
Manage the team inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner Support weekly and monthly team reporting activities.
Provide support to team members during vacation coverage and periods of fluctuating workloads.
Support audit requests and project close-out activities as required.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as identified.
Qualifications and Professional Experience Diploma or degree in accounting, business, supply chain, or similar post-secondary education preferred. 2-5 years of previous Invoicing, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and/or Project Controls experience.
General knowledge of the oil & gas industry would be an asset.
Knowledge/previous experience within project controls and oil & gas accounting practices preferred.
Experience working on major projects (> $1B) preferred.
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team of project professionals.
Share
Point and Dynamics 365 experience preferred; SAP experience would be considered an asset.
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions.
Strong analytical and computer skills. A track record of delivering highquality work, managing competing priorities, and supporting key business processes or operational functions.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels across the organization.
Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey information clearly, respectfully, and professionally.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fastpaced environment.
