Working closely with the AML/ATF Team Lead, this position helps ensure regulatory compliance, mitigate risk, and deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders.

In this role, you''ll support sanctions screening, compliance monitoring, and risk management activities related to Central 1''s payment and wire transfer programs.

Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.

As part of the AML Services team, you''ll collaborate across the organization to help maintain an effective compliance framework while supporting Central 1''s strategic growth initiatives.

What you''ll be doing: Analyze information relating toidentifiedsanctionscompliance situations(e.g., alerts)andidentifyhigh-risk situations that require escalationfor a more in-depth investigation.

Supportotherinvestigational activitiesor measuresundertaken by AML Services, including the investigation and analysis ofinformation relating toAML/ATF situations (e.g., alerts).

Maintain aworkinglevel of awareness of all current, relevant AML/ATF and sanctions laws/regulations; plus, industry best practices.

Supportthe 3 Lines of Defense (LOD)



model in the execution of internal work activities.

Collaborate withand supportthe team focused on delivering an effective/efficient internalwires screeningprogram, including Enhanced Due Diligence activities, thatsupports

Central 1soperations andstrategies.

Support themaintenance of thewiresscreening program byidentifyingenhancements to be more effective and/or efficient.

Support work to ensure regulatoryandother risks are managed by followingprocedures.

Maintainaccuratedetailed records asrequiredby procedures.

Ensure a positive work environment and awareness by all staff of company goals andobjectivestomaintainan environment oriented towards collaboration, trust, open communication, creativethinkingand cohesive team effort.

Support change management initiatives.

What you''ll have: University degree, or a college diploma; plus,as an asset,at least two years working experience in a field such as criminology, law, money laundering/fraud investigation.

Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or similar designationisan asset.

Relevant financial crimes experience,preferrablerelating to AML/ATFand/orsanctionscomplianceisan asset.

Working knowledge ofsanctionslegislationisan asset.

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to analyzesanctionsrelatedalertsis an asset.

Workingknowledge and understanding of analysis principles.

Sound ability to make sound judgements based on analysis.





Experience and/or knowledge in the use of technology-based AML/ATFmonitoringand/orsanctionsscreeningsoftware solutionsis an asset.

Strong skills on Microsoft Office applications thatincludesbut not limited to Excel, Outlook,Power

Point, etc.

Highly collaborative.

Salary range: $50,000-$56,000 The salary range representsthe job rate determined for the successful candidate who is fully competent in the role.
