Catholic Independent Schools of the Nelson Diocese (CISND)invites applications for: Teachers Teaching-On-Call (TOC) Individuals with a current membership in the Teacher Regulation Branch and a valid BC teaching certificate (or pending) are encouraged to apply for placement on theCISND Teacher-On-Calllist.

We invite applications from generalists and specialists, in primary, middle and secondary years who are familiar with the renewed BC curriculum in order to supportstudents at all CISND schools.

Substitute teachers must be committed to engaging students in activities and striving for meaningful learning experiences.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:



Commitment to Catholic Education Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish Successful teaching experience Ability to support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters In order to be considered for any position with CISND, the applicationmust be complete.
