Aerotek is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for our client located in Delta, BC - Key Responsibilities Experience with a variety of hand tools in a production assembly / manufacturing environment (wrenches, ratchets, impact guns Involves the assembly / painting / testing / shipping and packaging of hydraulic winches Ability to read and understand BOM (bill of materials) and shop workorder paperwork Ability to operate handheld scanner Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs Able to follow specific work instructions Able to do repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Ability to adapt to changes in priority upon direction from management Able to identify potential quality issues and alert management Strong work ethics with a positive attitude Demonstrated proof of regular attendance with previous employers Supports the team to complete assigned tasks on time Willingness to switch between tasks based on production needs - Must Have Qualifications 1 year of hand and power tools experience Ability to read and follow blueprints Forklift Certified (or willing to get it) Strong English communication skills Ability to lift 50lbs - Work Schedule Morning Shift: Monday
