Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (5+ years) to support Azure migration and application enhancement in a banking setting Join a high-impact delivery team within a major Canadian financial institution driving updates to the messaging back-office (MBO) platform.

This role focuses on Azure migration initiatives and requires close collaboration within an Agile pod structure.

The position offers exposure to enterprise-scale architecture, APIs, and hybrid cloud delivery for one of the countrys most recognized banking technology groups.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 2-4 days onsite Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension Must Haves 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) within banking or financial services Hands-on Agile delivery experience leveraging Jira and Confluence Strong technical background with API calls , Angular , Java , and Azure (3+ years recent)



Demonstrated technical delivery experience across complex enterprise environments Post-secondary education in a related field preferred Nice to Have Experience with Behavior Driven Design (BDD) Prior exposure to large-scale banking system modernization or cloud transformation Responsibilities Analyze, document, and manage detailed system and business requirements for MBO platform initiatives Collaborate with architecture, QA, and technology teams to define and validate solutions Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories Support testing activities by defining conditions and expected results Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, refinements, and estimations Conduct quality reviews on designs, prototypes, and requirements documents Provide guidance, knowledge transfer, and mentorship within the BSA discipline
