Our client is currently seeking a Field Electrical Technician to join their Service team.

This role involvesmissioning, installation supervision, and repair work on electrical distribution networks, with all work performed at customer sites.

You will assess onsite requirements and collaborate with engineering or management teams to identify any additional work needed.

Key Responsibilities Install,mission, and maintain low and mediumvoltage circuit breakers (vacuum, air, and/or gasinsulated) Modernize electrical equipment onsite, including circuit breakers, protection relays, and related devices Test and calibrate protection and metering equipment Work with a wide range of electrical equipment in constructionsite environments Additional Responsibilities Install and test electrical distribution systems, including protection and metering equipment Performmissioning of electrical distribution equipment Prepare technical reports summarizing onsite test results Meet established productivity and efficiency targets Act as a technical liaison with internal and external stakeholders Lead and coordinate projects in line with timelines and budget constraints Monitor project execution, document variances, and support corrective actions and reporting Manage project costs and support invoicing processes Ensure all workplies with safety standards, employment legislation, CSA standards, EHS programs, internal procedures, and customer requirements Why Consider This Opportunity? Work alongside experienced engineers and technicians, including structured knowledgesharing Modern technology: Handson work with current electrical products from leading manufacturers Training & development: Access to ongoing technical and product training Practical benefits:pany vehicle for business travel (with personal use option),prehensive benefits, and retirement contributions Growth environment: A culture that encourages autonomy, accountability, and career development Qualifications College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrodynamics, or Industrial Electricity Minimum 2 years of experience working with electrical equipment from 600V up to 35kV (medium voltage) Experience with mediumvoltage circuit breakers (vacuum, air, and/or gasinsulated) Highvoltage experience considered a strong asset Experience working on construction sites with diverse electrical equipment Additional asset: experience with transformers (onsite or in manufacturing/assembly environments) Strong knowledge of low and mediumvoltage systems, protection relays, troubleshooting, and installations Strong diagnostic and problemsolving skills Ability to work efficiently in a fieldbased environment and manage priorities Fluency in French (spoken and written) Working knowledge of English is an asset Valid drivers license Willingness to travel frequently within Qubec and occasionally elsewhere in Canada #HAYSYYZ This posting is for an existing vacancy with the organization.
