Job Responsibilities

- Lead manufacturing engineering activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase first-pass yield reduce scrap, and improve overall equipment effectiveness using structured problem-solving methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis
- Develop and execute test engineering strategies to optimize in-circuit testing and functional testing, reduce false failures, and improve fault detection and diagnostic capabilities.
- Manage programming and process controls, including placement optimization, solder paste inspection, and reflow profiling, to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
- Ensure reliability and uptime of manufacturing and test equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and capital improvement initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing new manufacturing processes, materials, equipment, and technologies.
- Support new product introduction by developing manufacturing process flows, line layouts, work instructions, and validation activities to ensure successful product launches.
- Conduct scheduled workplace inspections in accordance with environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Participate in accident and incident investigations to identify root causes,



implement corrective actions, and verify effective resolution.
- Coordinate manufacturing cost estimates, assembly process planning, and direct labor estimates for new business opportunities.
- Prepare, review, and conduct performance evaluations while maintaining confidentiality of employee information.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of experience leading engineering teams in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Electronics Manufacturing, or a related role.
- Knowledge of automation, and digital manufacturing technologies is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills with the ability to interpret manufacturing performance metrics and drive data-based decisions.
- Proven project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, equipment implementation, and current product introductions.
