Power Aspen Site in Lanigan, Saskatchewan.
As an Steamfitter / Pipefitter Apprentice you will be required to work with the Jourenyperson: Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machine; Select type and size of pipe required; Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools; Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system; HDPE Fusion experience NPS 4-20 (with fusion tickets) and/or Vic Roll Grooving NPS 4-24Install supports, valves,
piping and control systems; Test system for leaks using testing equipment; Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system; Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system; Involved in working with power tools and heavy equipment.
Minimum Requirements: CSTS 2020 or SCOT WHMIS 2015 Fall Protection (OSSA Preferred) Elevated Work Platform (OSSA Preferred) Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada, Pre employment Drug and Alcoholtesting is required COME AND GET YOUR BOOTS DIRTY!
