Saskatoon Soccer Centre Inc. (SSCI) is a non-profit organization that owns and operates two world class sports facilities in Saskatoon: Saskatoon Sports Centre and Saskatoon Kinsmen / Henk Ruys Soccer Centre. Although soccer is certainly the sport of our Members and dominates the activities, we also run day programs at both facilities. SSCI Indoor Playgroup, Indoor Walking Program and Pickleball (in partnership with SPI), make our facility a busy place during weekdays.
We are currently seeking a Day Program Assistant at the Saskatoon Kinsmen / Henk Ruys Soccer Centre. Our Guests are important to us and you’ll be their first point of contact. We’re looking for a reliable, energetic & friendly person for this active morning position.
Day Program Assistant responsibilities:
- Field & equipment prep, set up & take down
- Registration & admission to 3 programs
- Using Square point of sale and handling cash
- Toy cleaning
- Establishing excellent relationships with returning Guests
- Deliver exceptional service to our Guests
- Communicating about program needs with team
Minimum qualifications, skills and abilities:
- Customer service background
- Above average proficiency in speaking, writing and reading English
- Team player who welcomes coaching and guidance
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and push up to 65 pounds individually
- Ability to walk (quickly) a LOT each day!
Things you should know:
22.5 hours per week: 7:30am - 12pm
Season runs Sept - May
Wage increase after 500 hrs
