We are growing our in-house production team and are seeking an experienced framer who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to grow with a company focused on building better systems, better projects, and a better construction experience.

We are looking for an experienced Residential Framer / Carpenter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing structural framing systems, interpreting construction drawings, and completing work safely, accurately, and efficiently.

This position requires an individual who can work independently, maintain production schedules, and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineered drawings.
- Install engineered floor systems, including TJI joists, rim board, blocking, and subfloor systems.
- Construct floor systems, walls, roof structures, and structural framing in accordance with project specifications.
- Install joist hangers, structural connectors, beams, lintels, and engineered framing components.
- Measure, cut,



and assemble framing materials with a high degree of accuracy.
- Verify layout dimensions and elevations before installation.
- Maintain proper alignment, level, and structural tolerances throughout construction.
- Work safely while operating power tools and framing equipment.
- Assist with material organization and jobsite logistics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Skills

- Minimum 5 years of residential framing experience.
- Solid understanding of Ontario Building Code requirements.
- Experience installing engineered floor systems (TJI, LVLs, PSLs, glulam beams, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
- Proficient with framing tools and construction equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Working at Heights certification (preferred).
- Fall Protection certification (preferred).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
