The successful Project Manager candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Establishing project budgets and schedule targets
- Working with clients to define project goals and risks
- Hiring and overseeing project design teams
- Chairing meetings, preparing agendas, meeting minutes and monthly reports
- Providing feedback to the design team to ensure quality and cost targets are being met
- Procuring consultants and contractor teams for each project as needed
- Coordinating all owner-supplied fit-out equipment, including furniture, fixtures and equipment
- Providing continuous client contact by acting as the primary source of all client communications
- Providing feedback and ideas that allow for continuous improvement to company processes
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
- 3 – 7 years of experience in building and infrastructure projects with a background in engineering, general contracting, architecture or building sciences
- Strong business insight and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Proven record of achievement as a Project Manager demonstrating experience in successfully delivering projects
- Capability to handle various types of projects
- Excellent time management and delegation skills
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- PMP, P.Eng, and LEED AP certifications are assets
