Metro Testing + Engineering is hiring for a Laboratory Technician to perform testing on concrete and other construction materials at their Burnaby branch office.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Organizing and demolding cubes and cube molds
- Trimming samples
- Capping Cores
- Preparing Air void Test samples (polishing)
- Low strength compressive tests
- Back-up dispatch and data entry duties
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a materials testing lab is an asset
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift and control weights up to 50lb
