Driftwood Diamond Drilling is looking for motivated, reliable individuals to join our surface drilling crews as Driller’s Helpers.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to learn the trade, work in incredible mountain environments, and be part of a crew built on integrity, efficiency, and safety.

About the Role

As a Driller’s Helper, you’ll support the driller with daily operations, site safety, equipment handling, and general duties around the drill.

What Driftwood Offers

Compensation

- $29.00 per hour
- Meterage bonuses paid on every cheque
- Overtime paid after 8 hours
- Paid travel days
- Flights, accommodations, and per diem while traveling.

Schedule & Rotation

- 28 days on / 14 days off
- 12‑hour day and night shifts
- Remote camp work in stunning northern BC environments

Key Responsibilities

- Rod handling, core management, and site duties
- Complete pre‑shift inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Keep the drill site clean, organized, and safe




- Follow all safety procedures and environmental standards
- Support efficient daily production
- Communicate clearly with the driller and crew

Requirements

Experience

- Diamond drilling experience is an asset, however onsite training is offered to select candidates

Qualifications

- Must be a Canadian resident
- Current First Aid certification required before starting
- Valid Canadian driver’s license is an asset

Skills

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and comfortable with demanding outdoor work
- Ability to work rotational day/night shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
