Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high quality cleaning services within HRM and some surrounding areas. Mainly residential regular cleans, as well as deep cleans, move-outs, Airbnbs, offices and post renovation cleans. We offer a flexible schedule and hiring 4 positions :

1 full-time position 5 days per week 8-4 or 8-5 most weeks Mon-Fri with twice a month Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs to weekend bnbs during summer months

1 part-time position flexible 15-30 hours per week

2 casual-on call employees flexible schedule with occasional last minute call-ins when someone is out sick. higher pay rate for last minute call-in jobs

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure high standards of sanitation
- Conduct routine maintenance cleaning services and ensuring safety protocols are followed




- Maintain cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately in our booking system
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations and following a checklist provided to you
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
- Monitor your inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Stocking items at airbnbs for guests and notifying the client when low
- Maintaining a professional and positive relationship with clients and staff

Requirements

- Valid drivers license and vehicle insurance
- Clean criminal record check
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, preferred but will train the right individuals
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use various cleaning agents effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards and professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
