Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various nursing settings, including senior care, pediatrics, and hospice care. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the healthcare team, and ensuring the well-being of our patients in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with daily living activities for patients, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using medical terminology.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Requirements

- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in senior care, pediatrics, or hospice care preferred.
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in nursing homes or similar settings is advantageous.
