Arobas personnel is looking for a VP Operations for a permanent with one of our clients located in Montreal.

The VP of Operations is a senior leader responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, and scalable growth across global functions. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

What does your day-to-day look like?

Global Operations Leadership

- Oversee logistics, supply chain, sourcing, production, administration, and vendor management
- Ensure structure, accountability, and efficiency across teams

Production & Sourcing
- Manage global sourcing and manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, delivery, compliance, and margin targets
- Develop strong vendor relationships and continuously optimize sourcing strategies

Logistics & Supply Chain
- Lead global freight, shipping, warehousing, and inventory flow
- Improve cost efficiency, forecasting, and operational visibility through systems and controls

Product Development Operations
- Ensure seamless coordination from development to production through cross-functional collaboration
- Optimize timelines, workflows, and execution milestones

Costing & Margin Optimization
- Drive profitability through cost efficiency and sourcing improvements




- Analyze operational gaps and implement corrective actions

Executive & Sales Operations Support
- Partner with leadership to support growth initiatives, sales operations, and forecasting
- Ensure alignment across Sales, Finance, Design, and Product teams

Systems & IT Oversight
- Enhance ERP systems, reporting tools, and operational visibility across the organization

Key Requirements

- 10+ years of leadership experience in operations or supply chain
- Solid expertise in global sourcing and manufacturing
- Solid financial and operational acumen
- Proven ability to improve efficiency and organizational structure
- Experience managing international vendors and factories
- Excellent leadership, communication, and execution skills
