Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Night Time Baker to join our bakery team. This role is essential in preparing fresh baked goods overnight to ensure our customers receive high-quality products early each morning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, food safety, and delivering excellent customer service. Duties

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread, following established recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with professional cake decorating techniques to meet customer specifications
- Ensure all baked items meet quality and presentation standards before packaging
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain proper food handling procedures in accordance with food safety regulations
- Package baked goods securely for sale or delivery, ensuring freshness and quality are preserved
- Clean and sanitize workstations, baking equipment, and utensils regularly to uphold hygiene standards




- Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods

Requirements

- Previous experience in production baking, cake decorating and food preparation is preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Skilled in baking techniques, including bread making, pastry creation, and cake decorating
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce visually appealing products consistently
- Ability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic kitchen experience and familiarity with food packaging processes are advantageous
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to quality service

Hours are flexible from 6pm-onwards

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
