Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality massage therapy services designed to promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. You will work closely with clients to assess their needs and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate various techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.

Duties

- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques like deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address clients’ specific concerns.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Educate clients on pain management strategies, physiology, and anatomy relevant to their condition.
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent patient service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the clinic to optimize patient outcomes and ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay current with industry best practices, current techniques,



and continuing education opportunities related to occupational health and medical terminology.

Requirements

- Valid certification as a Massage Therapist with relevant licensing or registration as required by local regulations.
- Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and applying advanced massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology pertinent to massage therapy.
- Experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Ability to perform assessments that inform effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
