Service Technician

Overview

Buildmart Windows & Doors is currently seeking an eager, outgoing, organized individual to add to our growing team of

professionals.

Buildmart Windows & Doors has been operating in the Ottawa region since 2006 and has built a well-versed team of

professionals and impeccable reputation, giving our customers a worry free, white glove service. We are looking to add a

fulltime installation coordinator to join our team.

Buildmart Windows and Doors offers an extensive compensation package with a starting salary of $50,000.00 per year.

Further remuneration to be discussed on experience /performance and only after the probationary period.

Located in the Ottawa Region, and/or readiness to commute, as well as holds a valid G drivers license is required.

Job Duties

As a key member of our team your duties will consist of the following, but not limited to:

 Performing inspections upon receiving service requests.

 Creation of service tickets within the company and to all manufacturers.

 Completing all services in a timely manner. (Glass units, caulking touch ups etc.)

 Managing all service-related parts and deliveries.

 Maintaining clear communication with office staff and clients in regard to their service requests.

 Tracking of orders, and service-related orders in production.

 Working with the operations team to effectively plan the service inspections and service schedules.

 Communication with clients via phone, text, and email – where applicable.

 Ability to work as part of a team, or by yourself with little to no supervision.





 All training WILL be provided by our in-house team of professionals.

Experience

 Must hold a valid “G” Driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle

 A minimum of 5 years experience, with a key focus in the construction industry required. Specifically windows

and doors is an asset.

 Impeccable communication / organizational skills and a self-motivated individual.

 Ability to work in our main office during the hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday & 7:00am – 3:00

pm on Fridays.

 Excellent written and oral communication skills is required.

 A transparent and experienced understanding of Microsoft word, excel and a CRM system.

 Fluent in English, with communication in French an asset but not required.

Compensation

 Starting Salary to be $50,000.00 per year.

 Six (6) month probationary period to be completed.

 Company funded extensive benefits package including but not limited to:

o Eye care, including examinations, glasses and contact lenses (budgeted per year)

o Dental Care – 80% per transaction and up to $1,500.00 per year (examinations, polishing, and other

dental care)

o Paramedical services including but not limited to – Chiropractor, Counselling, Massage Therapy, just to

name a few.

 Two (2) weeks of paid vacation time throughout the year – mandatory to not be consecutive during May to

November.

 Approximately two (2) weeks of paid vacation at Christmas time (depending on how the holiday falls).

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
