Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a rapid-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience working in a food service setting. Duties

- Prepare ingredients and components for menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding serving, food handling, and safety protocols.

Experience





- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in roles involving food preparation or cooking.
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety practices and proper kitchen hygiene.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Experience with food handling, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous.
- Prior restaurant experience will help ensure a smooth transition into the role, but training will be provided for the right candidate eager to learn. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in team environments focused on delivering excellent food service.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
