Evergreen Traders is opening a new store in Moncton, and we are looking for dependable, outgoing and curious people to join our original store team.

This is not an ordinary retail job.

One day you might be testing a gaming laptop, and the next you could be learning about a vintage guitar, a diamond ring, a luxury watch or a piece of gold bullion. Our inventory changes constantly, so there is always something new to learn.

You do not need to know how to appraise jewellery, authenticate watches or test every type of electronic device before you start. We provide extensive paid, on-the-job training.

What we offer

- Competitive compensation: $16 per hour plus commission. We will guarantee at least $18/hr in the first year. High-performing employees can earn significantly more through commission and advancement.
- Permanent full-time hours: Choose a schedule of approximately 32–40 hours per week. Need 40 hrs? No problem. Want to work 4 days a week instead? Done.
- Predictable scheduling: Schedules are normally posted three weeks in advance so you can plan your life outside of work.

What you will do

- Provide friendly, respectful and professional customer service
- Help customers select and purchase merchandise
- Test, research and evaluate pre-owned products
- Learn how to assess items such as jewellery, electronics, tools and musical instruments
- Explain our services clearly and confidently
- Build long-term relationships with repeat customers
- Create attractive displays and keep the store clean and organized
- Accurately complete transactions and maintain company records
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the store team
- Continue developing your product knowledge and sales skills

Who we are looking for

You may be a strong fit if you:

- Have at least two years of sales, retail or customer-service experience
- Have proven that you are reliable and can be trusted with responsibility
- Enjoy talking with people and building customer relationships
- Are confident, energetic and positive
- Have good verbal, written and basic math skills




- Learn quickly and are interested in developing new expertise

Education or training beyond high school is an asset, but valuable judgment, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are even more important.
