Quest Disposal & Recycling

Canada

Earn $85,000–$105,000 per year with steady, year-round work, newer equipment, and consistent hours.

Quest Disposal & Recycling Inc. is hiring a Class 1 Truck Driver for our Lac La Biche operation.

This is a local, full-time position operating roll-off trucks and a variety of Class 1 truck-and-trailer combinations. You’ll be home every night, work approximately 50–70 hours per week, and receive overtime after 10 hours per day.

This is not the same repetitive route every day. Depending on the work, you may operate roll-off trucks, truck-and-pup combinations, tractor-trailers, walking-floor trailers, end dumps, flat decks, and other Class 1 configurations.

Previous roll-off experience is an asset, but it is not required. We hire for values and train for skills.

What You’ll Do

- Operate roll-off trucks and various Class 1 truck-and-trailer combinations.
- Deliver, exchange, and haul containers, equipment, and materials.
- Travel to customer sites, industrial locations, landfills, and transfer stations.
- Safely back, secure, inspect, and tarp loads as required.
- Complete vehicle inspections, ELD records, scale tickets, and required paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers while taking pride in your equipment and work.

What We’re Looking For

- Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
- A commercial driving record that meets Quest’s safety standards.
- A safe, dependable driver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable backing trailers and operating in winter, rural, landfill, and industrial conditions.
- Able to work independently and adapt to different trucks, trailers, and assignments.
- Comfortable using an ELD, tablet, and mobile applications.
- Physically able to inspect, tarp, secure,

and safely enter and exit equipment.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and a physical abilities assessment.
- Available for primarily Monday-to-Friday work, with some weekends based on client needs.

Why Work at Quest?

- $85,000–$105,000 expected annual earnings, depending on experience and hours worked.
- Consistent 50–70 hour weeks with steady work throughout the year.
- Overtime paid after 10 hours per day.
- Home every night—no camp, FIFO, or scheduled overnight work.
- Variety of Class 1 equipment and assignments.
- Newer, well-maintained trucks and trailers.
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.
- Permanent employment with a family-owned Alberta company.

At Quest, we value drivers who show up, work safely, communicate honestly, respect the equipment, and step up when the team needs them.
