Patient Care Coordinator (Remote)

Thrive Medical is a growing virtual addiction medicine clinic serving patients across Ontario. We are looking for an organized, compassionate, and proactive Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.

This is a remote, part-time position with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the clinic continues to expand. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping patients, staying organized, and taking ownership of their work.

Compensation

$25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience.

Part-time: Approximately 10–15 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position as the clinic grows.

Responsibilities

- Answer patient phone calls and emails in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Respond to new patient inquiries and guide patients through the intake process.
- Schedule and coordinate virtual appointments.
- Prepare patient charts prior to appointments.
- Send intake forms, treatment agreements, and appointment instructions.
- Coordinate referrals, laboratory requisitions, and follow-up tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Assist physicians with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Help identify ways to improve clinic workflows and enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting is preferred.




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning current software and working with technology.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and virtual healthcare is an asset.
