Causal In-House Caseworker

Rate of Pay: As per Collective Agreement

Start Date: TBD

Location: Windsor, Ontario

Hours of Work: As needed.

HOURS OF OPERATION: 24 HOURS

Restrictions: The successful applicant will possess a degree/diploma in an appropriate discipline from a recognized university/college and be a member in valuable standing of their professional regulatory association. Appropriate disciplines are:

· Bachelors of Social Work

· Bachelors of Psychology

· Bachelors with additional studies in Addictions counselling

· Registered Social Service Worker

· Registered addictions counsellor

The incumbent will be knowledgeable and experienced with all duties related to their role.



The incumbent will occasionally be required to attend meetings outside of regular work hours and at off-site locations.

Serving chemically dependent women, providing a variety of delivery methodologies designed to meet the clients’ needs including:

- Individual counselling
- Assessment and Intake procedures
- Support of clients in developing and implementing their recovery goals
- Facilitation and co-facilitation of the group process
- Evaluation of clients’ progress
- To act as a resource and role model for colleagues and clients alike
- Crisis intervention, and problem-solving

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $28.16-$28.76 per hour

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
