We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Product Estimator to join our inside sales team. This role is central to our project planning and customer engagement, focusing on accurate material estimation, cost analysis, and technical support for precast concrete solutions. You will play a key role in interpreting project specifications and drawings to deliver accurate and timely quotations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Analyze contract drawings and specifications to estimate materials and labor for precast concrete projects.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for standard and custom products.
- Generate written and verbal quotations based on technical evaluations and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with customers to clarify project needs and provide technical guidance.
- Use CAD drawings, sketches, and product imagery to communicate solutions and support quotations.
- Calculate pricing structures and submit competitive bids to contractors and consultants.
- Track tender outcomes and follow up on opportunities to enhance sales performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and project execution.
- Support Outside Sales Representatives with estimating and quoting assistance.
- Maintain compliance with internal quality systems and procedures.
- Project management on custom products.
- Create SOPs for better practices in the role.
- Participate in industry events to strengthen client relationships and promote AE Concrete’s brand.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

- Diploma or Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent technical education/work experience.
- Experience in estimating or technical sales within the construction or precast industry preferred.
- Proven experience in estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word,



Outlook).
- Familiarity with precast manufacturing processes (concrete, rebar, steel) is an asset.
