Duties

- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
- Provide personalized consultations to understand clients’ preferences and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure client safety and hygiene
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, building rapport to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Upsell retail hair care products and treatments that complement clients’ styles and needs
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently




- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge to deliver creative services

Requirements

- Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively listen to clients and explain styling options clearly
- Ability to upsell products tactfully while prioritizing client satisfaction
- Previous retail sales experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Valid cosmetology or hairstyling license as required by local regulations
