A-Plus Equipment & Supplies Inc. is a Winnipeg-based supplier of commercial restaurant equipment, kitchen supplies, smallware and related products. We serve restaurants, hotels, catering companies and other food-service businesses.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will assist existing customers, develop new business and recommend suitable equipment and supplies based on each customer’s needs and budget.

Responsibilities

- Assist customers in selecting commercial kitchen equipment, smallware and restaurant supplies.
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Prepare quotations and sales orders and follow up with customers.
- Build relationships with restaurants, hotels, caterers and other commercial customers.
- Contact prospective customers and identify new sales opportunities.
- Follow up on sales leads, quotations and customer requirements.
- Learn product specifications, pricing, availability and warranty information.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse and delivery teams to complete customer orders.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Work toward individual and company sales targets.
- Participate in product training and stay informed about industry developments.

Qualifications





- Previous experience in sales, customer service or business development is preferred but not required.
- Entry-level applicants and recent graduates will also be considered if they are motivated, dependable and willing to learn.
- Experience in restaurant equipment, food service, hospitality or commercial kitchens is an asset.
- Strong communication, customer-service and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable communicating by phone and email and preparing customer quotations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and order-entry or accounting software.
- Ability to learn technical product information and explain it clearly to customers.
- Organized and able to manage multiple customer requests.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English is required.
- A valid driver’s licence is required.

Pay: $32,756.59-$50,000.00 per year
