Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, and utensils following food safety guidelines
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality
- Support team members in food preparation and serving tasks as required

Skills

- Previous experience in food service or as a barista is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
