As a Job Coach you will provide guidance for an individual with an intellectual disability at their place of employment (grocery store setting). The successful candidate will be required to assist this person with their employment duties through modelling the assigned tasks. You will offer motivation and encouragement while ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner to the required standard.
- This position is in the Old Placentia Road area in Mount Pearl.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required for this role.
- Duties include assisting/ coaching an individual with his stocking rotation duties.
- The schedule is 2 shifts per week - Thursdays and Fridays, 10am-1pm.
- A current police record check/vulnerable sector check is required.
