**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

As a freight forwarder coordinator, your role involves overseeing the movement of goods from one place to another, ensuring efficient transportation and delivery. Here's a breakdown of your responsibilities:

- Coordination: You'll be responsible for coordinating various aspects of the freight forwarding process, including scheduling shipments, arranging transportation, and managing documentation.
- Communication: You'll liaise with clients, carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Clear and effective communication is crucial to address any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Documentation: You'll manage the preparation and processing of shipping documents, such as bills of lading, customs forms, and export/import permits, ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements.
- Customs Clearance: Facilitate customs clearance procedures, including submitting required documentation, coordinating inspections,



and resolving any customs-related issues to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
- Logistics Management: Oversee the logistics of transportation, including selecting the appropriate carriers, negotiating freight rates, and optimizing routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Problem-solving: Address any delays, damages, or other issues that may occur during transit, working quickly to find solutions and minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as insurance coverage for shipments or alternative transportation routes in case of emergencies.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing updates on shipment status, and resolving any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Overall, as a freight forwarder coordinator, your role is crucial in ensuring the timely and productive movement of goods while maintaining compliance with regulations and meeting customer expectations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.72-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Experience:

- Freight Forwarding: 1 year (required)

Language:

- a third Language other than English and French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
